The geotrail is mostly located along the Provincial Road Paliouri – Afitos. It mainly includes sites of Petrological/Stratigraphic interest, while the hot springs in Loutra are also particularly significant for the area. In the Kassandra peninsula, visitors have the opportunity to observe the geological features of the region in combination with leisure on stunning beaches and activities related to thermal tourism. 
It is an easy route that can be driven with a conventional car, except for geosite CHA_0309 where road access is limited.
