The 2nd geotrail presents the typical stratigraphy of the Ionian zone, uplift movements along the northern coast of Plaka, subduction movements in Elounda, as well as the quarries of its whetstone (“Akonopetra”), the historical cave of Milatos and of course Spinalonga, the island of martyrdom.
