Starting from a very impressive coastal geological site, the windless beach of Parpanta, and exploring the hillside village of Kardamylla, and the adjacent settlement of Marmaro, two areas with a strong maritime element, which characterizes the inhabitants of Chios from the distant past to the present day, we are led to landscapes of incredible natural beauty, with springs and running waters, and wander through gorges with impressive rocks and castles built on lavas from the depths of the earth.
