This route of unique natural beauty starts from the traditional settlement of Araia and Mylopotamos with its picturesque streets and churches with elaborate bell towers (a characteristic feature of Kythira). The valley of the watermills is an important attraction of the island, where nature and man mix in a unique way. The geotrail continues to the castle of Kato Chora and ends at the cave of Agia Sophia Mylopotamos.
