The route starts from the medieval settlement of Anavatos, also known as the "Mystras of the Aegean," and the stunning view it offers of the boundless blue of the sea and the magnificent sunsets. Along the coastal road leading to Lithi and then to the Limena of Mesta, and the homonymous medieval settlement, the stones tell their own story about their journey through geological time and their present relationship with the elements of nature and humanity. The geotrail ends at Apothika beach, where the views are extremely impressive, and the experience from diving into the small sea caves along the coastline is unique.
